In preparation for my travels and anticipation of many requests for updates about my life in Cambodia, I have decided to start a blog. It will NOT be just a travel blog--I'll cover other topics related to water, asia, food, public health, etc., whatever inspires me. Anyway, the title of the blog was inspired by my indispensible Aida, who self-identifies as a "theoretical" hippie--just one who showers regularly and does more than just rant about her beliefs. In this spirit, and in an effort to convey my interests in water and sanitation, the hygienic hippie was born. Check back soon for updates...
